This study discusses the practice of Islamic-Christian tolerance and the role of local wisdom in maintaining social harmony in Mojowatesrejo Village. The purpose of this research is to identify the forms of interreligious tolerance practices and the role of local wisdom as a social bridge between Muslim and Christian communities. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews with the village head, community leaders, and religious leaders, as well as observations of the social and cultural activities of the community. The theory used in this research is the social construction theory of Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckmann, which explains that social reality is formed through the processes of externalization, objectivation, and internalization. The results show that the practice of tolerance in Mojowatesrejo Village can be seen through the involvement of different religious communities in social and cultural activities such as village thanksgiving ceremonies, interfaith prayers, cultural parades, and mutual cooperation activities. Local wisdom also plays an important role as a unifying medium through traditions accepted by all religious groups. The change of the term “sedekah desa” into “tasyakuran desa” reflects a social adaptation to create a more inclusive cultural space. Based on Peter L. Berger’s social construction theory, tolerance in Mojowatesrejo Village is formed through continuous social interactions that eventually become part of everyday community lifeDownloads
